How to Apply Your Restore Glow Capsule: Step-by-Step Tutorial

You’re about to experience makeup that’s simple, customizable, and designed to make you look and feel your best with fewer products and steps.

This post will walk you through exactly how to build your Glow Capsule and apply each color in the right order for a beautiful, effortless look. I’ve included a short video for each step so you can follow along and feel confident from the very first application.

Step 1: Prime + Protect

Start by creating the perfect base for your makeup with Prime + Protect - a 2-in-1 primer and SPF 30. It smooths, blurs, hydrates, and protects, all without leaving a white cast. It feels like pure silk and helps your makeup glide on effortlessly and last all day. I think this is one of the best products Restore Collective has.

Step 2: Set Up Your Capsule

Remove the “training wheels” divider if you want to fit in more tins later, or keep them in to start.

Flip your Glow Capsule over. You’ll find labels showing where each product goes, plus a QR code linking to an application tutorial.

The back of your capsule tells you exactly what each product is and where it goes + a QR code with application instructions.

Step 3: Bright | Balance Corrector

Bright | Balance is your corrector. It has a soft orange hue that neutralizes under-eye darkness and redness. Apply a small amount under one eye to see the difference, and don’t forget spots like the sides of the nose.

Step 4: Lift | Bronze (As Contour)

Think of Lift | Bronze as your “road map.” Apply it right under your cheekbones, along your hairline, and under your jawline to create natural definition. You're gonna love how creamy your Lift | Bronze. And don't forget, a very little goes a very long way.

Step 5: Bright | Balance Brightener

Place your Bright | Balance brightener in the inner and outer corners under your eyes, down the center of your nose, on your chin, and between your brows. This adds light and lift to the face and it's what gives you that three-dimensional glow!

Step 6: Skin Tint

Apply Skin Tint anywhere you haven’t already placed product. It’s lightweight and buildable, evening out your complexion without feeling heavy.

Step 7: Blush | Balm

Your Glow Capsule includes three Blush | Balms - one full-size and two half-size. Apply your chosen shade (I’m using Shirley) to the apples of your cheeks, sweeping upward for a lifted look. Blush | Balms are creamy and hydrating.

Step 8: Blend

Using your Blend + Go brush that comes with your Glow Capsule, press the product into the skin, starting from the lightest areas and moving to the darkest. You can blend contour and blush together for a seamless finish.

Step 9: Lift | Bronze (as bronzer)

Revisit Lift Bronze, this time as bronzer. Apply to the outer forehead, top-back of the cheekbones, across the nose, and lightly on the chin - anywhere the sun would naturally hit.

Step 10: Eye Glow

Your three talc-free eyeshadows make application simple: light shade in the inner corner, medium shade in the center, darkest shade on the outer corner. Blend well. Bonus: use your lightest shimmer as an illuminator!

Step 11: Brows

Your final palette color is for brows. Fill them in with small, hair-like strokes, then brush through for a natural look. This shade can also double as a soft lip liner.
